I’m Joe Jimenez and I just have to say that today was truly amazing, I had so many new first time experiences. Like a well oiled machine we worked with the young dreamers to mix concrete cement to continue filling up the retaining wall. However, I have never mixed concrete cement with such a beautiful view like that of the Providencia mountains of Dota, Costa Rica. It was truly a sight to behold, however what made it even more incredible was that during one of our snack breaks we saw a tarantula hawk carrying a literal small tarantula across the worksite. I never expected to see a tarantula hawk perform its own job of capturing a tarantula to lay eggs in it, so that the babies could grow inside of it then eat it.

Finally to top off the day, all the delegates were taken on a night time drive to see the stars of the night sky. I just have to say that I have never seen so many stars in the night sky in my life. My home town has always had bright light pollution in the sky so I only saw some of the brighter stars in the sky. However, the Costa Rica sky was filled with thousands of stars, and it made life feel even more wonderful.
